Compart Family Farms™ is a fourth-generation, family-owned business located in Minnesota. What began as a 4-H project in Nicollet has grown into one of the largest family-run swine genetics businesses in the region. Since 1949, every Compart Duroc hog has been bred and registered with the National Swine Registry to ensure the highest level of consistency. Our family is involved in every step of the process, from breeding and feeding to ensuring that every cut meets our standards.

Superior pork starts with the right breed. At Compart Family Farms, we’ve spent over five decades refining our breeding program using real-time ultrasound technology and pedigree tracing. This allows us to carefully select the best Duroc lines for marbling and meat quality, ensuring a consistent product that butchers, chefs, and grocers can trust.

Duroc hogs are known for their exceptional meat quality. All of our hogs, including our newest line of No Antibiotic Ever (NAE) products consistently outperform other breeds in taste and tenderness, making them a preferred choice for consumers and chefs alike, offering:

Compart Duroc Pork was represented well at the Memphis BBQ Network (MBN) Invitational Yesterday in Memphis,TN. Boars Night Out finished 1st Place Rib, 1st Place Whole Hog, and 2nd Place Shoulder and with a GRAND CHAMPION overall in the Rib Category. There were several other teams that had top finishes with their Compart Pork. Thanks Jim Compart and Compart Duroc Team Compart.
